INSPIRATION: GIRLS OF SKINS

 

 

 

 

Since it's inception in 2007 every episode of UK Skins has blown me away. I know a lot of people were totally turned off when they discovered the characters change every two seasons (now known as the 'generations'), but I still fucking love the show, and I'm never disappointed by the mad outfits they're always kitted out in. Here I've picked my favourite characters (fashion-wise) from each season... 

1) Hannah Murray as Cassie Ainsworth in generation 1 with her oversized vintage dresses, long socks, crimped hair, oversized bows, lace sequins and frills (perfect perfect perfect)

2) Kaya Scodalario as Effy Stonem in generation 2 with her fishnets, Doc Martens, flannel shirts, sequins, black eyes and insane amounts of jewellery (and who could forget her 'dress' in episode 1 of season 4?)

3) Freya Mavor as Mini McGuinness in generation 3 with her bike shorts, leather jackets, intense bangles and stax of gold, <3
